CHCC Caddie Program

We feel our Caddie Program is an important tradition of the game.  If you like to walk, please let us know.  If you have a group coming out for a special day and would like to arrange caddies for that one day, let us know when you make your tee time.  We will reserve some caddies for that time.  Most of our caddies are single bag caddies.  The rate for a caddie is $18 with a suggested tip of $7-22.

The Basic Job of Caddying

The Caddie has been a part of the game of golf almost from the beginning of its history.  The Rules of Golf define the specific role of a caddie, but the primary purpose of a caddie is to assist the player for whom he/she is working for.  Basic duties include:  carrying the bag, providing yardages, replacing divots, raking bunkers, and attending the flagstick.  When a player enjoys a round of golf, so will the caddie.  The caddie and the player are a team on the course and a caddie's work is a fundamental part of a successful round.
